Organic essential oil CITRONELLA is obtained by steam distillation of citronella leaves – Cymbopogon winterianus. It comes into Amon & Anis bottles from organic plantations in Indonesia. This essential oil is certified organic & food grade – Bio Aroma.
Although it looks like grass, its fresh, penetrating scent is reminiscent of lemons. It relieves us, lifts our spirits and energizes our mood. Its essential oil is indispensable in mixtures for natural repellents. It is often used in cosmetics, for fragrance and in massages. Because it eliminates unpleasant odors, it is also added to cleaning products. Compared to lemongrass essential oil, the scent of citronella essential oil is a bit more delicate and sophisticated.

We recommend the base oil to be unrefined, cold pressed and of organic quality. The best and most common choice are jojoba, olive, sesame, almond or coconut oil.
– HOUSEHOLD USE –
Besides the pleasant aroma, many essential oils also have antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties, which is why they are added to cleaning products, detergents, for laundry and air fresheners.
