Ten years ago, when we started with the Amon & Anis organic cosmetics, the Eko Škrnicl store from Kranj also opened its doors. By a happy coincidence, the founder of the shop Petra got our flyer. She was so impressed with Amon & Anis products that she convinced us to start selling the products in stores, not just online. To celebrate the 10th anniversary, Petra recorded a mini video interview with us.
It has been 10 years since we started with Amon & Anis organic cosmetics. We presented ourselves for the first time in 2016 at one of the fairs with less than 30 products on a small wooden table that we made ourselves. We were accompanied by our one-year-old baby, who slept in a carrier on our chest while we presented the products to the audience. Our products were uncompromisingly organic which was rare for the time. And it still is, since truthfully organic cosmetic products are still hard to find.
Today, the Amon & Anis product range includes almost 100 products. We remain consistent in quality and we do not lower standards for the sake of a profit!
We are happy that after all these years, we still wake up full of enthusiasm every morning and that no matter what, we follow our personal values – to give people health, knowledge and love through Amon & Anis products.
We are glad that our work is an eye-opener to some people to see beyond the everyday surface. We hope we encourage more people to live in a way that is good not only for us and for this moment, but also for our descendants and for eternity.
I created a series of 13 illustrations with brushes and crayons. Contemplation about natural femininity during several years of family life resulted in the series which celebrates feminine energy and presents different archetypes of women.
The cards are intended for everyday inspiration or as a gift for special people and occasions such as marriage, birth or motherhood, initiations into femininity or personal transformation.
Amon has written an in-depth article about sunscreens – a comprehensive guide that helps health conscious users to understand what is really inside the product.
The article describes the ingredients contained in sunscreens, with an emphasis on those that are harmful to our health. We also draw attention to the frequent deceptions of advertising since the words natural and organic have often become misused. Marketing masters use them to create nice-sounding scams with the goal of making quick money. Therefore it can happen that we have an allergic reaction on our skin, because of a chemical ingredient despite using a “natural” or even “organic sunscreen”.

It was the first time Amon & Anis organic cosmetic was preseneted to croatian public and we were very warmly welcomed.
