Organic essential oil CEDARWOOD is obtained by steam distillation of cedarwood wood – Cedrus atlantica or “Atlas Cedarwood”. It comes into Amon & Anis bottles directly from organic certified areas of Atlas mountains in Morocco. This essential oil is certified organic & food grade – Bio Aroma.
Cedarwood essential oil, with its sweet, balsamic and warm scent, is literally extracted from wood. Due to its antiseptic properties, it is used in skin care for problematic and oily skin, like eczema and acne. It can also be found in products for the care of brittle, damaged hair and dry scalp, in anti-cellulite preparations and massage oils. It can be used to beautifully scent a room, when we need to center or ground ourselves, concentrate for studies or just relax before bed. Popular in many essential oil blends for its strong base note.

We recommend the base oil to be unrefined, cold pressed and of organic quality. The best and most common choice are jojoba, olive, sesame, almond or coconut oil.

Besides the pleasant aroma, many essential oils also have antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties, which is why they are added to cleaning products, detergents, for laundry and air fresheners.
