Organic OREGANO essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of flowering oregano – Origanum vulgaris. It comes into Amon & Anis bottles from organic plantations in Spain, where the abundance of sunshine and the favorable Mediterranean climate provide ideal conditions for growing oregano. This essential oil is certified organic & food grade – Bio Aroma.
Oregano’s penetrating, spicy and herbal scent is powerfully cleansing and empowering, but should be used CAUTIOUSLY! Oregano essential oil is only suitable for properly educated users and under the supervision of a trained professional! Due to its powerful effects, we must be VERY CAREFUL when using oregano essential oil. Never apply it directly to the skin, as it is very irritating. Oregano has exceptional antimicrobial, antiviral, antifungal, and antiparasitic effects, which is why it has been used in folk medicine for centuries for gastrointestinal, respiratory, colds, flu, and viral diseases. We recommend the base oil to be unrefined, cold pressed and of organic quality. The best and most common choice are jojoba, olive, sesame, almond or coconut oil.

Besides the pleasant aroma, many essential oils also have antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties, which is why they are added to cleaning products, detergents, for laundry and air fresheners.
