Organic essential oil CYPRESS is obtained by steam distillation of cypress leaves and twigs – Cupressus sempervirens. It comes into Amon & Anis bottles directly from organic plantations in Spain, where the abundance of sunshine and the favorable Mediterranean climate provide ideal conditions for growing cypress. This essential oil is certified organic & food grade – Bio Aroma.
Today, we can find cypress as an ornamental plant besides almost every house, although it is a typical Mediterranean plant. In fact, it came to coastal areas from the Himalayas with the Phoenicians, who settled on the island of Cyprus and named cypress after it. Cypress’s fresh, herbal, green scent is associated with the element of water and consequently with the movement of fluids. In the physical body, this is reflected as blood circulation and lymph stimulation. Therefore, it can help balance menstruation, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, cellulite and excess water in the body. The essential oil works well for massaging restless legs and muscle cramps. It can be used to freshen up your home, closets, or disinfect your shoes. On a psychological level, cypress moves stagnant emotions of sadness, making it easier to deal with traumatic experiences, especially those of mourning. It symbolizes immortality.
