Organic essential oil TEA TREE is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and twigs of the tree – Melaleuca alternifolia. It comes into Amon & Anis bottles from organic plantations in Zimbabwe. Although Australia is its native habitat, it is also grown in the African south. This essential oil is certified organic & food grade – Bio Aroma.
Its fresh, spicy and herbal scent could also be described as medicinal. Although a “specific” scent for many, it’s use is already very popular and well-established in most parts of the world. It is famous for its incredible antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. As a “great purifier”, it helps us in various areas of everyday life. In a diffuser, it very efficiently purifies the air. It is used also to disinfect surfaces and help with different cleaning jobs in the home. However, it is most famous and sought for its effects on the skin. It is used for various skin problems, such as acne, rashes, skin redness, inflammation and various forms of skin dermatitis. For this purpose, it is added to creams, ointments and oils. Despite its cleansing properties, it is quite gentle to the skin. In high concentrations, it is used to destroy nail fungus. It is also popular in cosmetic products such as mouthwash, toothpaste, soaps and deodorant.
