Educational holidays on the island of Pašman

We’ve just returned from holidays on the island of Pašman in Croatia, where we combined relaxation and educational workshops about organic cosmetics. Participants joining our workshops for five days learned how to make soap, toothpaste, deodorant, ointment and learned how to read the ingredients on the product’s labels. We also visited the location of the therapeutic black mud, collected some sage along the way and ate sweet fresh figs. Many thanks to international team from Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Poland, Austria, Spain and Iran! And for all of you interested, you can join us next year.

We are on vacation till 4th of September

Finally, we also went on vacation! Although we’ve made lots of fresh products we will sent it to you after the 4th of September, when we are back again. Until then, we’ll be enjoying the scent of pine and lavender. Thank you for your understanding.

Urban and Green outside the Hotel Park

We are again hanging out this Saturday, 21.5. 2016, outside the Hotel Park in Ljubljana at the Urban and Green event. If you pass by you are welcome to smell our products, draw a mandala or swing on a hammock in a park with a book in your hand.

Our products in shops and elsewhere

We have good news for all lovers of organic cosmetics who would like to try our products before buying and for those who enjoy buying in nice small town shops. You can find our organic products in specialized stores with natural products: Apoteka Natura in Grosuplje, Eko Škrnicl in Kranj, Mamaterra in Kamnik and Kot Doma in the interior parts of the market BTC in Ljubljana. With the professional support and friendly environment you will surely find something for yourself. You can also order our products at the social and organic cooperative web project Nakupujmo skupaj  every two weeks and collect the items at the old Šiška market in Ljubljana.

First time on the Altermed fair

This year we successfully shared our place of presentation with our friends from the Herbal farm Hanuman between the many providers of natural and organic products at the Altermed fair in Celje. It is nice to see many people from our country trying to make a better world, which gives us fresh stamina to go on with our project. Our place was full of totem animals waving from our products and we also had some great help from Lara. We thank all who entered into our world and took a product or two home.

We have gained organic certification by IKC UM Maribor

We have gained organic certification for all of our products by IKC Institute for control and certification UM (IKC UM Maribor) with the exception of air fresheners, which cannot be certified, as they are not declared as cosmetic products (they are still produced from organic ingredients, which we use for our other products). Certificate on the labels is indicated by „ekološka kozmetika“ (which means organic cosmetics) logotype. So far it is not translated into English.

„Consistent with the requirements of the standard, the certified organic cosmetic products contain at least 95% natural ingredients, from which at least 95% of ingredients of agricultural origin has to be derived from certified organic agriculture (Council Regulation (ES) nr. 834/2007 or other comparable standards) and no more than 5% of ingredients of synthetic origin, and these are limited and regulated by the standard. Also, with this standard a minimal share of organic ingredients in the final cosmetic product is prescribed.“

We happily announce, that we surpass these criteria, because our cosmetics is 100% natural and at least 98% organic.

Sejem Altermed 2

Amon&Anis organic cosmetics will be presented for the first time on the Altermed fair in Celje from 11th till 13th March 2016. You can find us on the exhibition nr. 54, where you can test and buy our products, bathe in the intoxicating aromas of essential oils and admire the colourful illustrations of plants and animals. Amon will be available all 3 days for your curious questions and consultations,  while occasionally we will also see Anis.

Pašman 2

This year in the summer you can find us on the Croatian island Pašman in Dalmacija on the Harmony program, where we will organise a 7-day workshop on natural cosmetics in the time from 26th August till the 2nd of September. A couple of hours a day we will research natural cosmetics, learn a few useful things, produce soap, toothpaste, deodorant, ointment, peeling, visit a repository of healing mud and by the way learn about the healing properties of plants. We will unite pleasant holidays with well spent time. In the small camp between the shadows of an old olive plantation there is a possibility of camping in your own tent or stying in nearby apartmans. A team of cooks will also be there for an abundance of vegeterian food. Welcome!
